The procedure takes 2-4 hours and is done under general anaesthesia. Patients must stay in a clinic after the surgery for 2 – 4 days in order to be supervised by a surgeon. At first, the period after surgical breast lift is painful, but the pain disappears in 1 – 2 days. Patients are strongly advised to wear a special surgical bra 24 hours per day for the next 5-6 weeks and to avoid sports and other physical activities.

Stitches are taken out in 1 week after the surgery. Scars should completely disappear and become invisible in a period of 1 year.
