I couldn't have chosen a better clinic. The fact it was 65% cheaper than the prices I'd been quoted the in UK and the extra help they provide is just incredible. My surgery went perfectly and they removed 10lbs of skin from my stomach and waist. I had everything I needed in my hospital room and the nurses are so attentive, kind and available 24 hours a day.

Before and after surgery I felt like I was very well taken care of! The nurses were very compassionate, and made sure I had what I needed - and that it went well! I don't think I've experienced that it's so good in Norwegian hospitals even..I will definitely recommend the clinic further, if anyone is considering it, but is insecure.

These people went above and beyond, soooo much more polite than UK surgeons, these people actually care about how you are, check up on you and answer all the questions you have. After check up a week later, my surgeon carried my luggage to my taxi. Fussy in ways you'll never know and if ever the need for surgery again, I'll go there. Anyone I know, I'll recommend over any others I've heard of.

Surgery went good and I was so happy with my stay at the clinic with extremely helpful and friendly nurses caring for me 24/7. The clinic was so fresh and I was served delicious meals. Another bonus was their transportation team who picked me up/dropped me off at the airport, back and forth from the hotel to the clinic etc. It was great not having to worry about any logistics, since it was all taken care of.

The clinic is equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical facilities, all analogous to those in Western European clinics. You will be looked after by professional English speaking staff. The wards are fully furnished and equipped with TV, WC and air conditioning. Free Wi-Fi is available while staying in the clinic.

We assure the comfortable and carefree stay of every patient – wide food and beverage choices including vegetarian and vegan upon request, flat screen TV with your individual Netflix account and all the hygiene measures provided.

Despite the size of the clinic we provide our patients with personal care and assistance. The majority of big public hospitals due to high volume of patients do not have enough resources and medical personnel to pay personal attention to each patient. Whereas we are fully focused on providing exceptional care and undivided attention for our patients.

Without any additional fees patients are tended in the clinic as long as they need. It may take up to 3 days. We only discharge our patients from the clinic when they are in a good health state and ready to leave.

All inclusive price, which is twice lower than in Western European clinics.

Our clinic works with medical professionals of highest education and experience level and uses the same materials as the clinics in Western Europe.  More often than not, the quality of our clinic‘s facilities exceed the ones in Western European clinics. The price difference is only due to considerably lower average salaries and taxes – which is the main reason for medical travel everywhere around the world.

Our clinic works according to the highest standards set by the European Union. This helps to guarantee the quality of medical service.

Our clinic has one of the biggest plastic surgery patient groups in Europe. In this group more than 25.000 of our past and future patients tell about their experience, share useful recommendations and transformation photos. You can join the group here.

Intimate surgery

Intimate surgery, also known as aesthetic genital surgery, is quite a new field of plastic surgery. Although widely discussed in the popular press, it is still a taboo subject for many people. The goal of this surgery is to increase self-confidence and quality of life by changing the intimate appearance. Here we present some of the intimate surgery procedures you might be interested in.

Types of external female genital cosmetic surgeries

Intimate surgeries are getting more common as they not only improve the aesthetics of an intimate area and allow women to feel more comfortable and self-confident, but also may solve medical issues as well. There are several types of external female genital cosmetic surgeries, mainly mons pubis reduction, labiaplasty, labia majora augmentation with fat transfer, and clitoral hood reduction. Genital cosmetic surgeries are performed by highly experienced plastic surgeons.

Types of internal female genital surgeries

Internal female genital surgery is designed to improve and restore soft tissues, such as in hymenoplasty, or muscles (e.g. perineal repair). These surgeries are all performed by an experienced surgeon, and thus, our clinic can ensure the highest quality care and outcome for the patient. There are several types of internal female genital surgeries:

What information is needed to approve a patient for the surgery?

During the first consultation, you will meet an experienced surgeon to discuss your wishes and eligibility for surgery. The surgeon will thoroughly evaluate your health history, chronic illnesses, any previous genital surgery, age, and past deliveries.

Also, you will have to provide a list of all medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are taking.

You should also inform your doctor about the status of your mental health status and any ongoing therapy. The doctor will explain an upcoming procedure in great detail and provide you with more information as to what to expect following the surgery. Even though discussing intimate body parts and sexual experiences can be quite uncomfortable, you should try to be as honest and open as you can. Our empathetic staff will take the best care of you.

How to prepare for genital surgery?

It is highly important to start preparing early for your surgery since there are quite a few things to take care of before coming to our clinic. Firstly, you may have to undergo several health tests, including a blood test and a urine test. Especially for intimate surgery, you may be required to take a pregnancy test and vaginal smear test (it is needed to screen for any infectious diseases or tissue abnormalities).

You should quit smoking at least 2 months before and after the surgery because nicotine restricts blood flow, slows wound healing, and has other profound negative effects on the body.

The use of blood-thinning drugs, like aspirin, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen or naproxen, should be ceased 10 days prior to the surgery (or when your doctor tells you to do so). Bear in mind that your urine can be checked before the surgery to make sure you have not smoked or used prohibited medications.

Surgery should be planned between your menstrual cycles (it is best if you can schedule it right after your period) which allows you for enough recovery time before the beginning of the next cycle. You may also take pictures of your genitals so that you can discuss the outcome of the surgery later.

As there is less and less time left before the surgery, we recommend you purchase menstruation pads as they are needed during recovery and your next period. You should talk to your partner about avoiding sex for 6 weeks post-surgery and discuss other ways to stay intimate without having sex. Also, stock your fridge with easy-to-cook healthy meals or commercial microwavable dinners as it might be challenging to prepare food for yourself and your family right after the surgery.

You should shave your private areas a few days before the surgery. If you fail to do so, the medical team will have to shave the area beforehand to reduce infection risk. You may also be instructed to fast 6 hours before the surgery to prevent regurgitation during anaesthesia.

Recovery after genital surgery
How problems of the intimate area impact a woman’s life

There is no doubt that problems of the genital area are not only physically but also mentally frustrating. Troublesome genital area affects physical health by causing pain during menstruation or sports, and eventually causes psychological challenges, like decreased self-esteem or depression. Besides, physically dissatisfying sexual intercourse may lead to personal frustration and subsequently have a negative effect on one’s relationships. Fortunately, minor surgical procedures can liberate every woman from functional problems and psychological discomfort.

What are the possible risks?

As with every surgery, potential risks of intimate surgery should be known by every prospective patient. A few of the possible complications include bleeding, wound splitting, infection, scarring, or decrease in sensory perception. Bear in mind that our experienced surgeons will ensure the best care and keep complication risk to an absolute minimum.
